Biodiversity

As part of the renewal of the UKCOL Partnership for Sustainable Growth, the two countries decided to broaden their spectrum of cooperation to work on one of the most worrying problems for the survival of life as we know it, the loss of biodiversity. For this reason, the biodiversity team aims to strengthen working ecosystems between Colombia and the United Kingdom on issues such as illicit trafficking of species and facilitate the financing of local and regional initiatives that contribute to the development of effective strategies that promote the conservation and protection of biodiversity.
